Camps 2021
We start the new 2021 academic year with two very important camps. Our year 7s will be travelling to Raglan for a four day camp from 9-12 February and our year 9s will spend three days at Totara Springs in Matamata from 10-12 February.
Staff Farewells
This term we sadly farewell two members of staff, Ms Alice Hamilton and Mr Max Bongartz. We thank them for their invaluable contribution to the life of the school and wish them well.

Year 10 Camp
Our year 10 students had a fantastic week at the Hillary Outdoors Centre in Tongariro National Park. They certainly took themselves out of their comfort zones and took part in a range of activities,

Mathex Competition
Heart pumping, blood racing. I looked up. Thousands of eyes peered back at me. I could feel myself getting nervous, after all, it was my first time on the team as a mathematician instead of runner.

Year 8 Rangitoto Trip
Our year 8 students spent a day on Rangitoto Island recently. Jolene Ly reports on their expedition:
Our experience of walking up the mountain was quite an adventure.

Year 7 and 8 Netball Tournament
After training nearly all year our Year 7&8 netball teams finally got to play in the Papakura Netball tournament.
The Tigers won all seven of their games and were named the team of the tournament and the Panthers won two of their six.

Auckland Athletics Championships
Congratulations to all our athletes who participated at Auckland Athletics Champs. All of our students who participated made the top 20, with six of those results in the top 10.

Counties Zones Athletics
On Tuesday 17th November we took 22 students to the Counties Zones Athletics. We had a great day with some excellent results.
The following students made it through to the Auckland Champs at Mt Smart.
