Jump Jam

This term, the college students took part in our inaugural College Jump Jam competition. Previously, the houses have competed in a battle of the choirs, but this year we had a slight change of pace. Each of the houses chose a different song with a Jump Jam dance to it, and the students learnt the choreography during their house assemblies. They performed in house colours in the school gymnasium to the judges and the Year 6 students, who came up to the senior school and watched as a part of their “College Taster Day”. There was plenty of house spirit on display, along with some very ‘creative’ dance moves. Everyone had fun and we are looking forward to making this a permanent feature of our House competition calendar.

Here are the results:

1st: McLaren – “Funky Town”

2nd: Angus – “I Like to Move It, Move It”

3rd: Wilkins – “Geronimo”

4th: Batten – “Dancing Queen”
