Message from the Primary Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We have enjoyed a short but busy term in the Primary. From weekly Gymnastics sessions, Life Education Health lessons, House competitions, Grandparent’s Morning, our Talent Show, Junior and Senior Sharing Assemblies, an Interschool Chess Competition,  year level Science trips, Pyjama Mufti Day, Year 6 examinations and College Taster day, to class assessments and Reports. I’m sure the students are looking forward to a relaxing break.

It was wonderful to be able to welcome you all back into school for our Pride in Achievement assembly. After not being able to hold for a full year due to COVID-19, it was lovely to share the students accomplishments and performances with you.

This term we had 126 students audition for our annual Strathallan’s Got Talent event. We enjoyed an array of talent across many areas of the arts along with some amazing individual items. The Final was incredibly entertaining. The level of talent of our students is simply outstanding. I am very proud of all of our students who took part over the term.

Mid-Year Reports are now available via your MyACG login on Blackboard.  Individual student Portfolios were also sent home this week. Class teachers will be available to discuss your child’s progress further next term at our Parent Teacher Interviews. Our students continually to work diligently and should be proud of the individual progress they have made.

I wish you all a lovely holiday with your families. Take care and stay safe.

Warm regards,
Kristie Thomas
