Dear Parents and Caregivers,
It has been wonderful to be able to hold school events again. The students and staff have thoroughly enjoyed being able to get together for Team, School and Music Assemblies. It is also lovely to be able to share the children’s work and welcome you into the classrooms each morning.
Mid-Year Reports are now available for all Primary Students via Blackboard. All of your children’s Reports are archived there for you while they are at Strathallan. You are able to download and print them if you wish. Mid-Year Reports will give you a clear indication where your child is achieving in each subject area at this stage of the year, along with their next learning steps and ways you can support them at home. If you have any questions regarding your child’s Report, please bring it along with you to the upcoming Parent Teacher Interviews. These will be held in Week 2 and 3 next term. Information on how to book an interview will be emailed to you. This email will also include your login details for Blackboard.
We have many sporting, cultural and school events planned for next term. This includes our School Cross Country in Week 3 and our annual talent quest ‘Strathallan’s Got Talent.’ Auditions for this will be in Week 2, with the Final taking place in Week 5. All ages and acts are welcome. We recommend students work on their acts over the holidays. A Parent Calendar will be emailed to all families early next term.
I would like to thank our teachers and support staff for the incredible support they have provided our students this term, through their academic programmes and the wonderful level of pastoral care they provide. Well done to all of our students, who have worked diligently through many changes to their routines this term. And finally, thank you to our parents and family members for your continued support. I wish you all a lovely holiday.
Stay safe everyone, we look forward to seeing you all again next term.
